Celebrating 42 years!

What a blessing it is to celebrate 42 years as a church body! We truly have a “goodly heritage” (Psalm 16:6). May we never forget the first generation of Liberty Baptist Tabernacle who sacrificed so much in order for us to enjoy the blessings we have today.

I would like to thank all who made this year’s celebration possible. Our Black Hills Jubilee was very well attended each day, and we were honored to have pastors across four states join us on Thursday and Friday.

Brother Long did a great job directing our music. All the music was Christ-centered, and I believe God was well pleased with our sacrifice of praise. Our choir glorified our Lord and Nathan Holder prepared our hearts for the preaching of God’s Word with special music Wednesday through Friday.

Thank you to all who made our Wednesday night and Saturday night meals possible by cooking and volunteering to setup, teardown, and clean up. Both nights were a great time of fellowship.

I also would like to thank Dr. R.B. Ouellette for being our special speaker this year. His sermons were Spirit-led and challenged us to a closer walk with God. The altars were packed each night and overflowing by Sunday night as we were confronted to do away with lukewarm Christianity.

I especially want to thank each of you for staying faithful and coming prepared each service to receive what God had for us. It truly is an honor to be your Pastor, and I look forward to being a part of what God has for us in our future.
