During the first three months of the year 2000…Pastor Tom Furse, Director of Lighthouse Baptist Press was in Okinawa, Japan filling in for a Military Missionary Pastor @ the Maranatha Too Baptist Church. During those three months, many of the Marines, who were attending the church, would go street soul-winning every Friday evening with Pastor Furse at one of the entrances to a Marine Camp. It was at one of these soul-winning times the idea of “Military Edition of the John/Romans Soul-Winning Booklets” was born. At first, the “Booklet” was going to be printed only for the Maranatha Too Baptist Church in Okinawa.
 Yet, when word got out to other Baptist churches serving the military worldwide…the orders started coming in for more and more of these soul-winning booklets. Presently we are now approaching over ˝ MILLION of these “Booklets” that have been shipped to churches serving the military and individuals within the military all over the world. NOTE: Over 100,000 of these “Booklets” were distributed directly to military personnel that were and are still serving in Iraq. Uncounted numbers of souls after souls have been saved amongst our United States Military, from the reading and the “heading” of these “Military Edition of the John/Romans Soul-Winning Booklets”.
